Start dates are determined after funding confirmation.\n\nNorthrop Grumman\u2019s Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Program Manager 2, Supplier Management Team Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Melbourne, Florida.\n\nThe Supplier Management Team (SMT) Lead reports to the Mechanical Area Lead within an Air Vehicle Subsystems IPT. The candidate will be responsible for managing suppliers who provide hardware and software solutions for one or more aircraft mechanical subsystems and will lead the evaluation of the programmatic and technical trade space. The candidate will lead requirements analyses, technical trade studies, risk management, recommend down selections, and participate in Supplier Management Team oversight of vendor selection, procurement, and vendor oversight. Strong relationship and team building skills, project management, and cross project coordination skills are required.\n\nThe SMT Lead will be responsible for:\n\n * Coordinating the efforts of the SMT, including engineers, the subcontracts administrator, supplier quality assurance representatives, logistics engineers, schedule planner, and cost/material planner\n * Managing Earned Value (EV) of material control accounts\n * Coordinating and managing the execution of all phases of supplier performance, including planning, proposals, new capability development, production, testing, deliveries, and sustainment\n * Conducting or coordinating review of supplier documentation (e.g., technical evaluations of proposals, acceptance test procedures, cost and schedule reports, software version description documents)\n * Reporting supplier status to Program Managers, GSC managers, and IPT Management\n * Managing supplier requests for waivers, deviations, and discrepancy reporting process\n * Verifying that End Item Data Packages (EIDPs) and Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRLs) items are reviewed and dispositioned\n\n\n\nThe selected candidate should thrive working in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, engaged in significantly diverse assignments, within a collaborative team setting across all levels of the organization.\n\nOur Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same. Finally, We pioneer: setting a vision that shapes the future and inspires others.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n * Must have a Bachelor\u2019s Degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master\u0027s degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below\n * Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions\n * Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company\n\n\n\n\u200b\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Experience managing suppliers as part of a government/DOD contract\n * Experience with multiple contract types (FFP, CPIF, etc.)\n * Requirements development/flow down\n * Technical evaluations of proposals\n * CAM/EV training\n * Repair management, DMSMS evaluations, MRP requirements\n * Familiarity with aircraft or spacecraft systems/subsystems\n\n\n\n#AS-FA3\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 - $208,700.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
