Summary
Responsible for providing administrative leadership and expertise to the Respiratory Care department.Job Description
Develops and monitors appropriate indicators for quality and continuous improvement. Manages the operations of the departments including human resources, budget and finance, short and long-range planning, legal and regulatory compliance. Expected to effectively interview, hire, counsel, discipline, and when needed, terminate employees. Is responsible for providing professional and technical expertise. Has major responsibility for implementing the vision and mission, plan and standards of the organization within the departments. Accountable for the environment. Expected to contribute to the strategic planning process, day-to-day operations and attainment of goals of the organization. May oversee employees who must utilize appropriate age-related patient care protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients.Qualifications
