About the Role

Lucid Motors is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Lead to own and evolve our SAP Finance landscape across Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Procure-to-Pay, Tax, Expense Management, and Financial Reporting. This role combines operational ownership with strategic transformation initiatives and will serve as the primary SAP Finance partner to Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, Tax, and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own SAP FICO processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Product Costing, and Intercompany Accounting.


• Drive SAP Finance enhancements, production support, issue resolution, and business process improvement.


• Lead Finance Transformation initiatives including close optimization, automation, reporting, and controls.


• Support manufacturing finance processes including Material Ledger, Actual Costing, Standard Costing, Inventory Valuation, and COGS analysis.


• Manage integrations across SAP, Coupa, Concur, OneSource Tax, OpenText VIM, SAP Analytics Cloud, and planning platforms.


• Partner with Finance leadership on roadmap planning, governance, controls, and compliance initiatives.


• Manage AMS vendors, consultants, and delivery partners while reducing dependency on external resources.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP FICO experience.


• Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO configuration and support.


• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.


• Strong knowledge of financial close, accounting operations, costing, intercompany accounting, and reporting.


• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise finance operations.


• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing industry experience, preferably automotive.


• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.


• Experience with Coupa, Concur, OneSource Tax, OpenText VIM, SAC, and Anaplan.


• Familiarity with global deployments and multi-country finance operations.


• Knowledge of SOX controls, audit requirements, and governance frameworks.
