Job Summary
The Manager, Speaker Bureau plays a pivotal role in overseeing speaker bureau staff, quality assurance, and compliance management. This position ensures seamless coordination among healthcare professionals (HCPs), field teams, internal departments, and vendors to deliver impactful educational events that align with strategic brand objectives. As a manager, you will lead the management and training of speaker bureau staff to provide operational and logistical aspects of speaker bureau programs ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. New client onboard experience preferred. The ideal candidate has exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to oversee multiple projects while providing guidance to teams and optimizing program execution. This role requires a proactive, solutions-driven approach and the ability to foster collaboration across stakeholders.
Key Job Responsibilities(Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)
Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of speaker bureau programs, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and accurate financial reconciliation.
Assess the financial impact of delays or changes, providing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with field representatives to manage all planning activities, ensuring flawless execution of events that meet strategic objectives.
Act as the primary client contact throughout the program lifecycle, delivering regular updates, resolving challenges, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Maintain and monitor comprehensive client status reports, participated in regular status calls, and addressed project-related issues efficiently and professionally.
Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects, demonstrating agility and adaptability in response to evolving client needs and dynamic business environments.
Job Qualifications(Skills/Requirements)
Bachelor's degree required
2-3 years of Speaker Bureau experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Ability to travel (locally and nationally) up to 15% of the time
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships among stakeholders
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork
Exceptional planning, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Willingness to go beyond what is described in the job description and be flexible for the team, and ultimately, the work
