Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) Consultant with strong techno-functional expertise in warehouse management systems and US retail or supply chain operations.

The consultant will support implementation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and application support for Manhattan Active WMS. The role requires the ability to understand warehouse business processes, translate requirements into effective system solutions, and collaborate with client stakeholders, technical teams, offshore resources, and external vendors.

This is a fully on-site position in Atlanta, GA, five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Analyze business requirements, assess solution options, and provide implementation effort estimates.

  Participate in Manhattan Active WMS implementations, configuration, enhancements, testing, and support.

  
  


• 
  

  Translate warehouse and supply chain business requirements into techno-functional solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis.

  
  


• 
  

  Design, develop, and execute test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

  
  


• 
  

  Document current-state and future-state business processes across integrated systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform API testing using Postman and support integration validation.

  
  


• 
  

  Write SQL queries to investigate data, validate transactions, and troubleshoot issues.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams, client stakeholders, and external vendors.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate project status, risks, timelines, dependencies, and implementation progress.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, and other project artifacts.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and system performance.

  
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

  
  


• 
  

  Approximately 7–15 years of overall relevant professional experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM).

  
  


• 
  

  Typically 3+ years of Manhattan Active WM experience; candidates with less MAWM experience may be considered if their broader background is strong.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated experience in WMS implementation, configuration, enhancements, and testing.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of warehouse management and retail/supply chain processes.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with production support and troubleshooting, preferably alongside implementation or enhancement projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman.

  
  


• 
  

  SQL proficiency with Oracle, MySQL, or another relational database.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong analytical, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work effectively with cross-functional, onsite/offshore, and multi-vendor teams.
