Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Manual Machinist for Express Employment Professionals in Morgantown, West Virginia.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Set up and operate conventional machine tools including engine lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other manual machining equipment
• Machine precision metal components while maintaining close tolerances and exceptional quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and technical specifications
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, boring, facing, threading, and precision machining operations
• Select tooling, fixtures, machine attachments, and machining methods for each job
• Inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments and make machine adjustments as needed
• Perform routine equipment maintenance while maintaining a safe and organized work environment

SCHEDULE
• Monday-Friday
• First Shift
• 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

• High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
• Experience Operating Conventional Manual Machine Tools REQUIRED
• Experience with Engine Lathes REQUIRED
• Experience with Milling Machines REQUIRED
• Experience with Drill Presses REQUIRED
• Experience with Grinders REQUIRED
• Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprints and Technical Drawings REQUIRED
• Experience Using Precision Measuring Instruments Including Calipers, Micrometers, Dial Indicators, and Gauges REQUIRED
• Ability to Machine Precision Parts to Close Tolerances REQUIRED
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Troubleshooting Skills REQUIRED
• Commitment to Workplace Safety and Quality Standards REQUIRED

Preferred Qualifications
• Three or More Years of Conventional Machining Experience
• Experience Machining Custom, Prototype, or Repair Parts
• Basic CNC Machine Knowledge
• Welding or Fabrication Experience
• Tool and Die Experience
• Experience Working with Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Brass, and Bronze
• Ability to Perform Basic Machine Maintenance and Repairs
• Vocational or Technical Machining Training
