Electrified Thermal is seeking lab technicians to assist with pilot production of our “E-Brick” refractory heater elements at our Charlestown, MA facility. E-Bricks are a novel type of heater element which power our Joule Hive ™ thermal battery, and your role is to assist with productions scale up. You will report to the Senior Process Engineer and work on a manufacturing team of engineers and technicians.
Full-time on-site work is expected.
What You’ll Do at Electrified Thermal
Mix, pour, vibrate, cure, fire, QC, and package refractory E-brick heater elements.
Prepare Quality Assurance/Control samples with each batch.
Document process parameters as directed by process and manufacturing engineers.
Assist with equipment maintenance, improvements, and repair.
Prepare refractory samples for testing, including cutting, drilling, and grinding.
Organize and catalog samples, tools, and equipment.
Work with engineering staff to revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processes and lab equipment
Travel: No travel is anticipated for this role.

Experience with hands-on work in a professional or educational setting, such as lab work, production, or construction.
Attention to detail and strong communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to adhering to workplace safety procedures and contributing to safety culture
Ability to independently execute on complex tasks with a high degree of reliability
Comfort working with your hands; comfort working with power tools or heavy machinery.
An OSHA-approved stand-up forklift certification, or, a willingness to obtain one in on-the-job training
