Location: Marietta, OH

Position Overview


We’re seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to help manage configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role tracks orders through production and shipment while keeping internal teams aligned on schedules, requirements, and potential delays.

Key Responsibilities


  • Coordinate orders from initial entry through shipment and final closeout.

  • Review sales orders for configuration, accuracy, and completeness.

  • Monitor key milestones, including materials, production, testing, and shipping.

  • Keep order and project information current in ERP and project management systems.

  • Work closely with production, supply chain, quality, engineering, and logistics teams.

  • Provide customer updates and communicate schedule changes promptly.

  • Identify orders at risk of delay and escalate issues before they affect delivery.

  • Coordinate shipping requirements, documentation, and customer-specific needs.

  • Prepare internal and customer-facing project status reports.

  • Help improve order tracking, scheduling, and related operational processes.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.

  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer service, inside sales support, or manufacturing operations.

  • Experience working with ERP systems and project tracking tools.

  • Strong organization and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities.

Preferred Experience


  • Background in electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with configure-to-order (CTO) or make-to-order (MTO) processes.

  • Experience with power distribution products or industrial equipment.

  • Experience coordinating manufactured-product shipments and logistics.

  • CAPM certification or interest in pursuing a project management certification.
