Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Scheduler in support of large-scale manufacturing activities across multiple operational sites. This position is responsible for overseeing production scheduling strategy, coordinating closely with the Planning team, managing production order release schedules, and ensuring alignment between material availability, manufacturing capacity, and production execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and communicate production schedules.


• Monitor work orders, production progress, capacity constraints, material shortages, and schedule performance.


• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, and Program Management.


• Identify schedule risks and proactively communicate impacts and recovery plans.


• Maintain accurate ERP production scheduling data.


• Review MRP requirements and assist with production work order management.


• Participate in and support daily production meetings.


• Prepare production reports, dashboards, and management presentations.


• Analyze schedule adherence, backlog, capacity, and on-time delivery.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives.


• Track action items and ensure commitments are completed.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or related technical discipline preferred.


• Equivalent combination of education and directly related manufacturing scheduling experience may be considered.

Experience:

• 2-3+ years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or a related environment.


• Strong ERP knowledge.


• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.


• Excellent verbal and written communication.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities.


• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.


• ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent)


• Experience with MRP, capacity planning, and production control.

• Microsoft Excel: advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros, VBA.


• Data analysis and reporting.


• Microsoft PowerPoint and professional presentation development.


• Tableau and/or Power BI.


• Capacity planning and workload analysis.


• Work order management.


• KPI development and performance reporting.


• Data visualization and dashboard development.


• Basic understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and quality requirements.

 Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in manufacturing and industrial production environments.


• Ability to regularly engage with production teams on manufacturing floors to monitor schedule execution.


• Ability to sit for extended periods while analyzing production schedules and operational planning data.


• Occasional travel between operational sites as business needs require.


• Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environments with shifting operational priorities and aggressive production deadlines.

Temporary House Allowance (If You Accept)

• Up to $5,000 in temporary housing


• $1,050/month stipend to support living arrangements after 1st working month on an ongoing basis
