Manufacturing Quality Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Quality Engineer to join our Quality Team here at MM Packaging Greensboro!

This position is 100% on site at our facility in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Your Role

As a Quality Engineer you will be a leader within the quality team with respect to development of product specifications, data collection systems, line audit creation, developing answers to internal and external complaints, and creation of cross functional SOPs. Your responsibilities as a Quality Engineer include:

• Assuring adequate internal quality standards are in place


• Determining quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes


• Establishing statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence


• Developing experiments by applying full and fractional factorial techniques.


• Developing sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, AQL, and sequential sampling methods


• Maintaining statistical process controls by applying charts for distributions and individual-medial/range for multi-stream processes


• Analyzing data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests


• Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations


• Designing and implementing quality assurance systems consistent with industry standards that increase quality levels


• Serving as primary trainer for all quality programs and initiatives. 


• Leading the problem solving efforts for all quality complaints as well as overseeing the tracking and completion of corrective actions

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Statistics or Quality-Related field or equivalent work experience


• 
  

  5 years of experience in Quality Assurance 

  
  


• 
  

  Supervisory experience preferred

  
  


• 
  

  CQE & Six Sigma Certifications preferred 

  
  


• 
  

  Fluent communication in written and spoken English (C1+), other languages are an advantage
