Job Summary & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 / CNC Machinist to support manufacturing and development of measurement equipment for the Semiconductor and Photovoltaic industries. This position will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor, who will oversee specific tasks and work schedule.

• Deburring, sanding and cleaning of machined parts.

• Running the machine shop chop saw, grinder and band saw.

• Running machine operations on a vertical mill and/or lathe.

• Fixing and creating parts with only verbal instructions.

• Preparing parts for coating operation.

Qualifications

• Machining: 7-10 years required

• Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-discipline environment, as well as possess strong problem solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English

• Experience with conversational programming and Acu-Rite controls

• Manual Machining background

• Must have own tools

• Ability to learn and work on the fly

• Basic math and Geometry skills

• Ability to lift 50lb

• Works well with others
