The Intermediate Level Manufacturing Technician independently performs mechanical, electrical assembly and configuration/testing while applying job knowledge to complete standard production activities with minimal supervision. This role performs both routine and non-routine assembly tasks, troubleshoots common manufacturing issues, and adapts standard procedures to support manufacturing operations safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and assembly documentation.
· Independently perform electrical and mechanical assembly.
· Wire electrical assemblies and install harnesses, tubing, cables, and mechanical components.
· Perform machine commissioning, to include\: Start Up, Calibration, Testing and Validation.
· Troubleshoot routine electrical and mechanical assembly issues.
· Identify production problems and recommend corrective actions.
· Support Engineering during prototype builds and new product introductions.
· Cross-train in multiple assembly areas.
· Assist in training new employees on standard processes.
· Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Maintain production documentation.
· Maintain organized work areas using 5S.
· Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
· Perform other assigned duties.
What You’ll Bring
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· 2-4 years manufacturing assembly experience or demonstrated equivalent expertise.
· Experience with electrical and mechanical assembly.
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Works with minimal supervision.
