Marine Diesel Mechanic

Our Hinckley Yacht Services yard is looking for an EXPERIENCED Diesel Mechanic to join our Naples Service yard. This service yard is looking for an experienced marine mechanic to perform complex mechanical repairs, and installs.

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities

•Must be comfortable working on all boat systems; Hamilton water jets, engines by Yanmar, VolvoPenta, Cummins or FPT.

•Must be familiar with working on onboard plumbing systems, hydraulics system installations, troubleshooting and repairs.

•Some knowledge of HVAC is required.

Diesel Mechanic Qualifications

•The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience and the ability to install complete mechanical systems, have a drive and desire to meet or beat schedule and budget for project with no rework.

•The ability to write condition reports on boats, prepare actual estimates and plan projects through to completion is vital.

•This mechanic will work independently to complete projects and may lead a small work team to complete projects

•5 years Marine Experience Required
