Marine Electrician Superintendent

Position Summary:

Talent Source is hiring a Marine Electrician Superintendent with extensive experience in shipboard electrical systems and leadership within the marine or shipyard industry. This role oversees electrical production teams, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to project schedules.

Job Duties:

Supervise and manage electrical production personnel, including multiple supervisors.

Ensure work is completed according to schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Attend production and progress meetings with customers and provide clear status updates.

Track budgets, material usage, and workforce allocation.

Review and participate in QA checkpoints and inspections.

Prepare Condition Found Reports with detailed findings and repair recommendations.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and specifications.

Troubleshoot shipboard electrical systems and ensure proper operation.

Conduct performance evaluations, training, and disciplinary actions as needed.

Ensure compliance with NAVSEA standards, OSHA regulations, and internal procedures.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in marine or shipyard industry.

Proven leadership experience managing teams and supervisors.

Expert knowledge of electrical systems and shipboard repairs.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.

Familiarity with NAVSEA Standard Items and OSHA standards.

Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Must be eligible to obtain base access clearance (background check required).

Pay Range: $30 – $62/hour (based on experience)
