General Summary and Purpose:

The Marketing Operations and Events Associate is responsible for supporting Victory Capital's marketing efforts through coordinating the Firm's participation in conferences and industry events, serving as Marketing's project manager across key initiatives and partnering with investment professionals, sales teams and other departments to deliver exceptional sales collateral. The position requires meeting aggressive deadlines, performing at high levels of accuracy, and working closely with Sales, Portfolio Specialists, Portfolio Management, Compliance, other departments and outside vendors to ensure that deliverables are timely and of high quality. The ideal candidate is an experienced event planner and project manager, a self-starter, and is highly detail oriented.

You Will:

• Coordinate the Firm's participation in industry conferences and events, from planning through execution, including registration, logistics, shipping and on-site management


• Serve as Marketing's project manager for key initiatives including acquisitions and product launches


• Partner with investment teams, Sales and other Marketing team members to develop and deliver exceptional monthly, quarter and ad hoc marketing collateral and sales support materials


• Manage tradeshow booths, banners, signage and promotional items, as well as vendor relationships and cost-effective sourcing


• Organize Victory Capital's annual sales meetings, including logistics, design, creative content and overall event success


• Manage the Firm's fulfillment and project management platforms and related vendor relationships, ensuring tools are optimized, cost-effective, and aligned with team needs


• Execute monthly, quarterly and ad hoc product collateral updates


• Become well-versed with data and sources specific to assigned Investment Franchises


• Assist with other marketing projects as needed

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred


• 2–5 years of experience in a marketing, events, or sales support role


• Exceptional conference and event planning skills


• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously


• Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail


• Ability to develop effective internal and external business relationships


• Strong communication skills


• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word


• Knowledge of the asset management industry and related products a plus


• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus


• Creative thinking and analytical skills; ability to gather and interpret data a plus


• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to juggle a variety of responsibilities and deliver high-quality results while adhering to strict and competing deadlines

Target Compensation:

The target base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $80,500.

Salaries are determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees, and certifications.

Victory Capital Management operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.

Victory Capital Management's total compensation package includes the opportunity for annual compensation bonuses and/or commissions and a generous benefits package.
