Marketing Research Analyst

Provides marketing analysis for Market Research Manager and Executive Director of Strategic Marketing in support of the development, planning and execution of appropriate research methodology to support MBE’s business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Manages strategic data gathering, analysis and strategy development to drive the overall Strategic Marketing Plan.

• Develops customer profiling, segmentation, secondary market analysis, etc. in support of the marketing plan.

• Assists Market Research Manager and Executive Director of Strategic Marketing in setting departmental goals to support the strategic goals of the company.

• Identifies strategic areas of importance and makes recommendations on research opportunities and methodologies.

• Provides Marketing subject matter expertise on Strategic POS team, provides identification of marketing-related data and development of customer-based analysis models and reporting mechanisms.

• As key member of MBE’s CRM unit, provides data analysis expertise and counsel for development and execution of MBE’s short and long-term CRM/data warehouse initiatives.

• Assists development and execution of qualitative and quantitative research, analyzes results and presents recommendations to MBE/UPS management. Communicates with research vendors on assigned projects to monitor and manage project work.

• Analyzes sales results by area, region, market and center to identify opportunities.

• Acts as Marketing liaison for technology-related projects.

• Assists Marketing Managers, Executive Director of Strategic Marketing, S.V.P., Marketing and UPS on other projects, as assigned.

• Assists in tracking Franchise Development and Retail Customer marketing campaigns to determine effectiveness of communications.

Pay rate: $28.22+ an hour
