Masonry Foreman

M3, Inc. is now hiring Qualified Masonry Foreman to manage commercial and residential masonry projects in Charlottesville and surrounding cities/counties. This is a full-time, year-round position with an established company offering a competitive salary and benefits package. 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in the Masonry Field with Project Management experience


• Expert knowledge of the trade including brick and block 


• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and execute construction plans 


• Proven ability to supervise and work side-by-side with crew


• OSHA 30 (required)

• Familiarity with building & safety inspections, and all OSHA Safety Standards

• Equipment operation experience (Forklift; Aerial and Scissor Lift) 


• Driver’s License and clean driving record


• Physical stamina and ability to work outside year-round


• Math and computer proficiency


• Must be an organized quick thinker and problem solver


• Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with Project Managers; Supervisors; and other team members. 


• Positive attitude and commitment to quality and safety are a must.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee the daily activity of masonry projects, which includes daily crew management; and forecasting labor/material needs.


• Ensure that project is operating according to specifications, budget, and time constraints.


• Order material and supplies for project and coordinate delivery


• Ensure that crew is adhering to safety protocols at all times and that tools and equipment are being used and maintained properly 


• Effectively communicate with Project Managers, Supervisors, and Crew.
