Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
• Administer various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and tension.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and service offerings.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy.
• Proficient in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to occupational health.
• Excellent patient service skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong customer service orientation, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
• Ability to perform patient assessments effectively to tailor treatments accordingly.
• Experience in a med spa environment is a plus but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
