Master Automotive Service Technician
We are seeking an experienced Master Automotive Service Technician to Join out service team. This position is ideal for a highly skilled technician with advanced diagnostic and repair capabilities who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and solving complex vehicle concerns.
The Master Technician will diagnose and repair advanced mechanical and electrical issues, perform manufacturer -specifed repairs, and service as a key technical resource within the service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately diagnose and repair vehicle concerns, including engine, transmission, electrical/ electronic, steering, suspension, braking, HVAC, and drivability systems
- Perform diagnostic using manufacturer- approved diagnostic tools, scan equipment, technical resources, and special service equipment.
- Complete work specified on repair orders efficiently, accurately, and to manufacturer standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and perform comprehensive system and component testing to verify concerns and repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer policies, procedures, and specifications.
- Interpret diagnostic trouble codes, wiring diagrams, technical service information, and repair procedures.
- Identify additional maintenance or repair needs and communicate findings clearly to the Service Advisor.
- Provide accurate estimates of the time required to complete additional repairs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate repair documentation.
- Stay current on evolving vehicle technology through ongoing manufacturer and industry training.
- Serve as a technical resource to other technicians when appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4+ years of automotive service and repair experience preferred
- ASE Master Automotive Technician (A1-A8) certification preferred
- Manufacturer/OEM certifications and dealership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electrical and electronic systems
- Hybrid and/or electric vehicle diagnostic experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem- solving skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage complex repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical education preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
