Material Handler

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate all material handling equipment including trucks, forklifts and pallet mover


• Shuttle finished goods from production facility to warehouse


• Support the materials handling process for production related materials


• Maintain an orderly and organized warehouse


• Develop, revise, and review documentation for all materials related activities


• Weighs pallets and scrap


• Accurately navigates and inputs information in production reporting system


• Shrink wrap finished products and setup floor warehouse pickup


• Examines finished pallets and labels before pickup and distributes materials;


• Accurate and legible reporting of production pallets


• May be assigned to work as Assistant Operator/Packer as needed (see job description)


• Maintains a clean and safe work area


• Other duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent


• Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Excel preferred


• Forklift Certification (will train)


• Ability to work 12 hour day and night rotating shifts


• Work overtime, weekends, holidays as required


• Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management
