Material Handler

Spur Industrial is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support our structural steel fabrication shop and yard operations.
Responsibilities

• 
  Receive, unload, organize, and stage steel and other materials
  


• 
  Load fabricated steel and materials for delivery to jobsites
  


• 
  Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment
  


• 
  Verify material quantities, identification, and condition
  


• 
  Keep material storage areas organized and accessible
  


• 
  Assist Production and Shipping/Receiving with material movement
  


• 
  Report damaged, missing, or incorrectly identified material
  


• 
  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  


• 
  Follow all company safety procedures
  

• 
  Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded
  


• 
  Forklift experience preferred
  


• 
  Experience in steel fabrication, construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping/receiving is a plus
  


• 
  Able to read basic measurements, material tags, and shipping paperwork
  


• 
  Comfortable working indoors and outdoors around heavy equipment
  


• 
  Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday
  


•
