Material Handler and Driver

GT Midwest is a family owned business and has been going strong for over 75 years. We are looking for an additional member of our Warehoused team. If you want to work for a company who values their employees, GT Midwest may be for you! In this role, you will be working both inbound and outbound freight. Loading and unloading material. Personal strengths required: Ability to learn, open-minded, flexibility to embrace change and an eager attitude along with integrity and honesty. 

Accurately and efficiently perform warehouse duties that will include any shipping, receiving, or inventory related functions

•Follow Quality Procedures (QP’s) and job specific duties 

•Adhere to applicable Policies and Procedures (PPD’s) and all work rules as found in the GT Midwest Employee Handbook

•Complete Haz-Mat training and follow all applicable regulations

•Complete fork lift training and operate forklift equipment safely

•Drive and deliver product to customer 

•Communicate with Warehouse Management of any problems, questions, or other concerns 

•  Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record required
• Experience in  shipping, receiving, or  warehousing operations
• Experience with material handling equipment
• Experience working in a customer oriented, fast paced operation
• Experience with RF scanning operations a plus
