POSITION SUMMARY:

·  Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.

·  Sort cargo before loading and unloading.

·  Receive finished goods, inspect for damage, organize and accurately record inventory using production sheets or work tickets

·  Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.

·  Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.

·  Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.

·  Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers.

·  Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.

·  Pull and prepare rolled/bundled fence product and load fencing rolls onto a flatbed truck for customers’ orders and shipping

·  Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.

·  Perform miscellaneous yard/warehouse duties as necessary and as directed by the supervisor

·  Provide excellent customer service.

·  Must be able to work overtime as required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

·  Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.

·  Read work instructions and set up machines as required to run different product sizes.

·  Stand or walk for the entire shift and use arms and back to perform the tasks associated with the role.

·  Must be able to work overtime as required with Saturday availability.

·  Forklift experience preferred

·  Schedule 5:30pm - 5 am Monday-Friday

Requirements

NECESSARY SKILLS, BACKGROUND & COMPETENCIES:

·  Must be able to work in a team-based, positive, fast-paced environment.

·  Must be able to understand written instructions and follow procedures.

·  Forklift exp preferred

·  High School Diploma or GED preferred.

·  Hours 5:30pm-5:00am
