Here, you\u2019ll be supported in progressing \u2013 whatever your ambitions. \n\n \n\n \n\nAbout the role:\n\nPerforms manual and clerical duties, which may utilize computers in the preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment for shipment. Typically involves end-to-end ownership of the material replenishment and fulfillment process for raw material components, sub-assemblies and finished goods inventory. \n\n \n\nWork Mode:\n\nAt Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at five days per week.\n\n \nRelocation:\n\nRelocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.\n\n \nVISA:\n\nBoston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time.\n\n \n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n * Examines shipment containers at the time of delivery for any damage and verifies the accuracy of information listed on the packing slips, invoices, and freight bills by opening the packages and visually inspecting the contents in order to ensure accurate deliveries.\n\n\n * Enters material information (e.g., P.O. number) into the business computer system and generate receipt travelers to provide material traceability.\n\n\n * Transports material (e.g., production and non-production materials) upon request, using a forklift, pallet jack, or truck to the designated location. May be required to utilize pallet wrapper, bander and other materials and devices to properly prepare materials for transport.\n\n\n * Receives out-going shipments from internal customers and packages items using the appropriate materials (e.g., cardboard boxes and packaging tape) to properly prepare items for shipment.\n\n\n * Processes the receipt of finished goods and/or components, following written and verbal instruction using both internal and external data entry software for tracking.\n\n\n * Performs pick, pack and ship operations according to established practices and applicable work instructions.\n\n\n * Records shipment information using the carrier service\u0027s systems and methods (e.g., Federal Express, UPS) for shipping traceability.\n\n\n * Reads, comprehends and follows basic job instructions and/or protocols including verbal, written, diagramed, colored and other related documents; written in English.\n\n\n * Acts as an internal and external customer interface.\n\n\n * Reviews physical labels to ensure the correct Batch Number is pulled prior to transacting electronically (100% Quality).\n\n\n * Drives actions to ensure appropriate stocking levels are maintained in Component Crib and Distribution Center without disruption to customers while partnering with Purchasing, Manufacturing and Finished Goods Production Coordinators and Team Leads through open communication and teamwork.\n\n\n * Completes material movement transactions utilizing SAP and MES systems.\n\n\n * Pull raw material parts from bins using a pick list and and applicable computer hardware and peripherals (e.g., identifying the specific part number, lot number, quantity and location of all items on an order) to fill Manufacturing Reservations and delivery orders.\n\n\n * Performs SAP transactions to clearly identify status and history of product.\n\n\n * Physically labels component material and packages for shipment and manufacturing to ensure 100% traceability in SAP and MES\n\n\n * Pulls/prepares components for shipment to both internal \u0026 external customers while transacting in SAP for full traceability.\n\n\n * Reads, comprehends and follows basic job instructions and/or protocols including verbal, written, diagramed, colored and other related documents; written in English.\n\n\n * Assisting in the analyzing, designing, and implementation of manufacturing and business process improvement through continuous improvement.\n\n\n * Job may require lifting boxes of up to 50lbs. \n\n\n\n \n\nRequired qualifications:\n\n * Minimum of 1 year of experience with a high school diploma and/or equivalent experience\n\n\n\n \n\nRequisition ID: 628611\n\nMinimum Salary: $ 30992\n\nMaximum Salary: $ 52728\n\nThe anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) \u2013 see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com\u2014will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
