Material Handler (RIP), 1st Shift – Moorpark, CA

We have an opportunity for a RIP (Raw & In‑Process) Material Handler to join our Moorpark, CA team. In this role, you will support manufacturing operations by delivering materials to production lines, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring efficient material flow throughout the facility.

You will:

• Deliver raw and in‑process materials to production lines using forklifts and tugger trains to support daily manufacturing operations
• Receive, stage, and transport materials according to production schedules and line priorities
• Perform material transactions using ERP/MRP systems, scanners, and production documentation
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution
• Follow FIFO, Kanban, and lean material flow processes to ensure uninterrupted production
• Inspect materials for damage, accuracy, and quality concerns while maintaining a clean and safe work environment 

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling environment
• Hands‑on experience operating stand-up forklifts and tugger equipment in a production setting
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems, scanners, or SAP/ERP software
• Ability to read material labels, work orders, and production documentation accurately
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to safety
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts (FIFO, Kanban, 5S) preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.
• Steel-toed footwear is required.

Compensation:

• The hourly pay for this role is $20.00 – $23.00/hour, DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

Shift:

• 1st Shift: 4am start time (8–12 hour shifts)
• Overtime and weekends as needed.
