PCSI is looking for a Materials Coordinator at Edwards AFB. A Materials Coordinator reviews shipping manifests, purchase orders and DOD documentation to ensure proper receipt. This position will report to the project manager and is based at Edwards AFB.
Base pay of $35.50hr

What You'll Do as Materialist Coordinador:
Participation in the Performance Evaluation program is required.
Review shipping manifests, purchase orders and DOD documentation to ensure proper receipt.
Document over, short, and damaged material and process frustrated receipts.
Monitor stock selection, packing and packaging, staging, segregation of shipment by marked destination, and shipment of goods of all kinds.
ââCoordinate and expedite the flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules, or department supervisors' priorities.
âReview production material requirements and confer with maintenance supervision to determine required or overdue materials and locate material.
âRequisition material and establish delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated material availability.
âValidate, monitor, and coordinate the status of parts ordered and received, including due-in-from-maintenance (DIFM) assets.
âArrange for receipt and transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
âExamine delivered materials to verify type and ensure specifications are met.â
Monitor and compile reports of material quantities and types on hand.
Move, stage, and transport materials between departments or designated areas using hand trucks, industrial trucks, vehicles, or other material handling equipment as required.
Maintain, review, and analyze manual and computerized production, inventory, employee, and logistics records, reports, and listings; initiate appropriate actions and recommend improvements based on data trends.
Process property turn-ins and coordinate vehicle scheduling, dispatch, packing, and delivery activities in accordance with established procedures and work schedules.
Identify, stage, and handle hazardous materials in accordance with applicable safety requirements, procedures, and directives.
May lead, guide, train, and evaluate assigned personnel, customers, or coworkers as needed, including providing proficiency training and supporting performance evaluation activities.
Perform routine duties with limited supervision and receive direction from supervisors, leads, or designated officials for non-routine assignments; serve as a first-level supervisor when assigned.
Conduct random quality control reviews and perform Chief Inspector duties as assigned to support compliance with applicable warehousing directives and program requirements.

What You'll Need:
ââââAssociates Degree in Business/Logistics or a related field required, or the equivalent combination of formal training and related work experience.
âMinimum 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.âââ
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
âââProficiency with word-processing and integrated software applications.
âAbility to use applicable hardware, software, and material handling equipment to support warehouse, logistics, reporting, and material movement functions.
âFully knowledgeable in all phases of receiving, storing, and shipping material.
âWorking knowledge of supply directives, established guidelines, process requirements, and technical supply management practices.
âAbility to support multiple areas of supply, inventory, and warehouse management beyond a primary assigned function.
âAbility to assist and communicate with others as needed and establish effective working relationships.
âStrong analytical skills, including the ability to define problems, gather and evaluate data, establish facts, and recommend appropriate actions.
âAbility to understand organizational requirements and support standardized technical supply operations within defined scope and complexity.
âStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage routine work accurately and efficiently.
âAbility to communicate effectively with CORs regarding Materiel Management functions of the PWS.ââ
