Job Description:

As a Mazak Lathe Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating Mazak lathes to produce high-quality precision parts for various industries. You will work closely with the production team to ensure efficient and accurate production of parts, while adhering to all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Program and set up Mazak lathes to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications

- Select and load appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job

- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper cutting speeds and feeds

- Conduct quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring tools

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors in programming or machine performance

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 3 years of experience programming and operating Mazak lathes

- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

- Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming

- Familiarity with Mazak controls, specifically Mazatrol

- Experience with precision measuring tools

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
