MCAT Tutor/Video Presenter

Are you a physician or experienced MCAT educator who can make challenging concepts clear, engaging, and memorable on camera? UWorld is seeking confident on-screen talent to create MCAT educational videos for our learning platform and social media channels.

For learning platform projects, UWorld will provide all scripts and instructional materials. For social media content, presenters will have the chance to be innovative and develop their own video concepts under guidance of the marketing department.

Candidate Qualifications

• MD or DO degree, or at least 2 years of experience as an MCAT tutor or instructor
• A 515+ MCAT score (>90th percentile) is preferred for tutors and instructors
• Strong MCAT subject knowledge and experience teaching pre-med, MCAT, or medical students
• Confident, engaging, fun, and natural on camera, with strong vocal delivery
• Comfortable using a teleprompter, taking direction, and completing multiple takes

Job Responsibilities

• Present MCAT educational videos for UWorld's learning platform
• Create original MCAT videos for social media
• Review assigned content and arrive prepared for filming
• Deliver content clearly, naturally, and accurately on camera
• Collaborate with the Project Manager/Video Lead and apply production feedback

Filming and Travel

• Filming takes place in person at UWorld’s studio in Dallas, Texas.
• UWorld will arrange and cover round-trip airfare to Dallas for scheduled filming sessions.
• Recording dates will be coordinated with selected talent in advance.
• Work will primarily be completed during scheduled preparation and filming sessions.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly compensation, commensurate with experience
• Project-based contract role
• Work completed primarily during scheduled filming sessions in Dallas, Texas
