This position will be located in Roy, UT.\n\nThis role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do:\n\n * Provide oversight and assistance to multiple programs within the Division portfolio (Sentinel GBSD and ICBM Sustainment); to provide the people, skills, and processes for successful achievement of program goals.\n\n * Provide enabling support for all business areas within the SDS portfolio including the Air Force\u2019s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure.\n\n * Analyze current release process, gaps, and resolution to ensure throughput of PDP releases at design review milestones.\n\n * Own and lead improvements across design department for employee engagement, hiring, development, training, attraction, and retention of top talent.\n\n * Mentor, develop, and train section managers and overall employee base.\n\n * Supporting proposal work, independent technical reviews, program stand-up, audits, and special assignments on an as needed basis.\n\n * Create and manage high performing teams while providing technical, administrative and management expertise in the day-to-day activities required to successfully execute complex engineering programs.\n\n\n\n\nPosition Benefits:\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\n\u2022 Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n\n\u2022 401k \n\n\u2022 Educational Assistance \n\n\u2022 Life Insurance \n\n\u2022 Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n\n\u2022 Paid Time Off \n\n\u2022 Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n\n\u2022 Employee Discounts \n\nThis positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. \n\nYou\u2019ll Bring These Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 8 years of experience; 6 years with Master\u2019s.\n\n * Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.\n\n * Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP).\n\n * Must have the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.\n\n * At least 1 year of experience working in the Aerospace and or the Defense field.\n\n * 3 years of experience as CAM and or EVMS.\n\n * Excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior management, peers, and employees.\n\n\n\n\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:\n\n * Experience working on ICBMs.\n\n * Understanding and proven experience leading Sustainment technical scope of work\n\n * Active TS Clearance, program access.\n\n * Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira.\n\n * Experience managing an engineering team is preferred.\n\n * Minimum of 3 years in a formal lead/ management position.\n\n * Experience creating or growing new sections or departments.\n\n * Working knowledge and/or experience across engineering disciplines.\n\n * General understanding of Northrop Grumman engineering processes.\n\n * Proven performance as an engineering leader in all phases of acquisition, design, integration, and execution.\n\n * Ability to rapidly assess and lend guidance to projects assigned to the organizational group as well as demonstrated mentoring and guidance to engineers.\n\n\n\n\n#Sentinelmechanical\n\n#Sentinelleadership\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $151,500.00 - $227,300.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
