The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. \n\nYou\u2019ll Bring These Qualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) disciplines from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience, or a Master\u2019s Degree in a related discipline and 6 years of relevant experience.\n\n * 6 Years of experience of mechanical engineering development for aircraft/aerospace programs; including requirements generation, conceptual/detail design, design reviews, and/or testing\n\n * Experience with requirements analysis, trade studies, SERD generation, design solutions, acquisition, test, and validation\n\n * Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\n\n\n\n\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:\n\n * Must be an expert with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word\n\n * 1+ years\u0027 experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule\n\n * Proficient with 3D design/2D drawing CAD in NX\n\n * Proficient with PDM and/or CPLM\n\n * Proficient with GD\u0026T and ASME Y14.5-2009\n\n * Experience working with specialty engineering stakeholders (PM\u0026P, Safety, Human Factors, others)\n\n * Experience leading a team of engineers\n\n * Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience\n\n * Possess an EVMS Certification\n\n * Hands-on experience in fabrication, assembly, and measuring\n\n * Strong communications skills, both verbal and written; and ability to read and understand technical requirements documents\n\n\n\n\n#Sentinelleadership\n\n#Sentinelmechanical\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $133,200.00 - $199,800.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
