Join a fast-growing aseptic beverage manufacturing facility as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled maintenance role supporting highly automated production equipment in a regulated, GMP-compliant environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous production through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
Candidates with experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, plastics, or other highly automated manufacturing environments are strongly preferred.
Schedule (Must be available for full rotation)
Weekend Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
Rotating Schedule:
Week 1: Thursday – Sunday
Week 2: Friday – Sunday
Candidates must be comfortable working extended 12-hour shifts, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, and mechanical systems
Diagnose and resolve equipment failures to support production uptime
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, documentation, and repair records
Read and interpret equipment manuals, SOPs, and process diagrams (P&IDs a plus)
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all GMP, safety, sanitation, and environmental standards
Assist with general facility maintenance and minor building repairs
Required Qualifications
5+ years of industrial maintenance or mechanical technician experience
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong troubleshooting skills with industrial mechanical systems
Ability to read technical manuals and follow structured procedures
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is highly desirable:
Food or beverage manufacturing
Pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetics, or chemical manufacturing
GMP or other regulated production environments (sanitation/audit experience)
Work with automated production lines
Additional exposure to:
HVAC systems
Boilers and compressors
Refrigeration systems
Welding or plumbing
Wastewater systems
Industrial electrical systems
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to work in a production/industrial environment with noise and machinery
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
Compensation & Growth
$60K–$70K base salary
Quarterly production bonuses
Scheduled overtime (~16 hours/month) with optional additional OT
Pay increases are available upon successful training and skill development
