Mechanical Services Project Sales Manager

A leading mechanical services organization is seeking a Project Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team while directly contributing to project sales success. This role blends leadership, sales strategy, and technical expertise to drive repair/replace, and design-build project opportunities across diverse markets.
Requirements of the Project Sales Manager:
Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering preferred.
5+ years demonstrated success leading, mentoring and developing sales teams.
Proven experience in project sales, construction services, or mechanical/electrical systems.
Strong business acumen with project financials, forecasting, and profitability.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.

Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of project sales professionals.
Drive prospecting, pipeline development, and closing of service project contracts.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed booking targets.
Build and expand key customer relationships across commercial, healthcare, industrial, government, and education sectors.
Oversee project turnover, pre-construction planning, and execution alignment.
Collaborate with internal teams on scheduling, procurement, and delivery.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and productivity.
Support forecasting, billing, and profitability tracking.
Maintain strong client relationships throughout the sales cycle and project lifecycle.
Identify new opportunities and expand existing accounts.
Lead effective sales presentations and proposal development.
