Know, understand, and follow all Safety, Environmental, and Maintenance policies, procedures, and requirements.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment throughout the facility.
Troubleshoot and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, rotating equipment, and other plant assets.
Use precision measurement tools and diagnostic equipment to identify equipment deficiencies and determine corrective actions.
Conduct equipment inspections and condition assessments to identify potential failures and reliability concerns.
Perform equipment alignments, belt and chain adjustments, bearing replacements, and mechanical rebuilds.
Execute work orders and documents maintenance activities within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Support root cause analysis investigations and implements corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
Assist in developing and improving preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to employees on mechanical maintenance best practices and equipment care.
Support turnaround, outage, and shutdown activities, including planning, execution, and equipment restoration.
Operate mobile equipment as required and maintains applicable certifications.
Perform Lockout/Tagout activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with Operations personnel to safely troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize production interruptions.
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, maintainability, and cost reduction.
Report incidents and participates in investigations as required.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization within maintenance work areas.
Perform all work in compliance with environmental, health, safety, and company standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience.
Knowledge of manufacturing plant processes.
Good knowledge of local codes and standards.
Motors, PLC, Drives Experience.
Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance knowledge.
Experience in reading construction drawings.
Basic Computer Skills.
Must be able to walk long distances and stand and work for more than 2 hours in tough environmental conditions (high temperature, high humidity, noise, & dust), lift 50 Lbs. and withstand heights of up to 500 feet. Pre-employment physical is required.
Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC-card.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
