Mechanical Technician – Auto Body & Mechanical Shop

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Mechanical
Technician to join our busy auto body shop. In this role, you will handle
mechanical repairs related to collision work, including suspension, steering,
alignment-related components, engine support parts, and general mechanical
systems. You’ll work closely with painters and body technicians to ensure each
vehicle is repaired safely, accurately, and on time.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose
  and repair mechanical issues on vehicles involved in collisions
  
• Perform
  suspension and steering repairs, part replacements, and adjustments
  
• Complete
  pre- and post-repair mechanical inspections
  
• Work
  with the body shop team to coordinate repair timelines
  
• Ensure
  all work meets safety and quality standards
  
• Keep a
  clean, organized, and safe work environment
  

Requirements:

• Experience
  as a mechanical technician (auto body experience is a plus)
  
• Strong
  understanding of vehicle mechanical systems
  
• Ability
  to use diagnostic tools and shop equipment
  
• Good
  communication and teamwork skills
  
• Attention
  to detail and commitment to quality
