Medical Assistant

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support the daily operations of our medical office. This role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Support

• Greet and room patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Obtain and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and reason for visit
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures
• Prepare patients for exams, treatments, and minor procedures
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain exam rooms and medical instruments

Administrative Duties

• Maintain and update patient records and charts
• Verify patient information and ensure documentation accuracy
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with scheduling as needed
• Support communication between patients, providers, and staff
• Handle general office tasks to support efficient clinic operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and office practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Patient-focused mindset with a high level of professionalism and compassion
