Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours: 80 Hours Per Pay Period

Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $26.00 (based on experience)

Salary Range: $41,600 - $54,080

Job Overview:

Join the Cardiology Team as a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support, manage patient flow, and assist in the management and treatment of patients of all ages. Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure quality care and smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care:

• Perform rooming processes, administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed.
• Collect laboratory specimens and conduct clinic laboratory tests.
• Support prescription refills, patient-provider communication, and telephone inquiries.
• Perform x-ray or phlebotomy duties if certified.

Clinic Support:

• Assist with front desk tasks, check-ins, ordering supplies, and prior authorizations.

Team Accountability:

• Maintain proficiency in outlined skills and upgrade as necessary.
• Demonstrate effective communication with the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to manage clinical and clerical tasks efficiently.
• Skills in patient care, laboratory work, and administrative support.
