Medical Assistant- IRMC Pain Clinic - Full Time

Skills Desired: Must possess the necessary multitasking and organizational skills to perform the essential functions of this position. The applicant should also have experience with the registration and scheduling of patients in an outpatient or ambulatory setting. Experience with insurance verifications and obtaining authorizations for procedures and patient testing is preferred.  Knowledge of assisting providers with procedures and office visits.

Minimum Education Required:  Must be high school graduate or equivalent.  Medical assistant certification.

Minimum Experience Required: Medical Assistant with at least two years' experience in office setting or ambulatory setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification Required:  Medical Assistant certification. Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire).
