Medical Assistant/Scribe

Dr. Thrower has been in private practice for over 20 years and is the creator of Dr. Thrower’s Skin Care System (formerly known as Dr. Thrower’s Heritage Skin Care).  Our office is small although we are very busy and we work as a team to ensure that everybody is successful.  Employees are provided with a certain amount of flexibility within their work schedule to pursue educational degrees and additional experience. 

Work directly with Dr. Thrower in the exam rooms to scribe the patients' chief complaint, doctor's diagnosis, treatment and recommendations into the patients' electronic medical chart. Schedule patient appointments, answer phone calls, patient check-in and check-out procedure, charting, filing, processing online products/medication orders and other duties as determined by office needs as well as employee ability and knowledge.

Medical Assistant/Scribe experience required.  Experience working with Kareo and EMA software programs preferred.  Advanced Computer skills a must. Ability to multi-task, work independently, and customer service skills required. 

Part-Time position, must be able to work 8:30-2 on Tuesday. Wednesday, Friday and at least 1 Saturday per month.
