Medical Biller

The Medical Biller is a full-time position that reports directly to the Billing Manager. Medical Biller responsibilities include: authorizations, credentialing, billing, and collections.  This position will also include client facing processes: benefits/eligibility verification and client invoicing/collection.

Responsibilities:

• Execute Insurance benefits verification process

• Initiate and follow through on clinician credentialing process

• Obtain treatment authorizations where appropriate

• Submitting bills for reimbursement from insurance companies

• Resubmitting and working denied claims

• Invoicing error, aged Claim, and insurance denial review

• Client Invoicing, A/R, and Collections

• Effective communication of insurance, benefits, and claims information to clients

• Maintaining current files and billing records

• Working within existing practice management software to assist with interdepartmental collaboration

• Answering any general billing/insurance questions the client may have

Qualifications:

• College Degree preferred

• 1-3 years of insurance billing with preference to ABA billing

• Working knowledge of commercial insurance guidelines and processes

• Central Reach experience is a plus!

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

• Strong work ethic, fast learner, and attention to detail
