About the Role A growing medical supply company is looking for a hands-on Medical Billing Manager to take ownership of its billing department from the ground up. This full-time, on-site role blends front-end claims management with team leadership, ideal for someone who wants to build efficient processes and drive real results in collections and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Claims Management

• Oversee the submission of clean and timely insurance claims


• Identify and address rejected, denied, or unbilled claims


• Monitor claim aging reports and improve collection timelines

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Manage a team of billing and A/R staff and ensure departmental efficiency


• Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accurate records

Compliance & Operations

• Maintain compliance with billing regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in medical billing, preferably within the medical supply industry


• Familiarity with EMR systems; Brightree experience strongly preferred


• Knowledge of insurance terminology, claim workflows, and A/R processes


• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills


• Ability to manage a small team and implement efficient billing practices
