Medical Billing, Surgery Estimator, Payment Poster

  NOT A REMOTE JOB

· Answer incoming calls, professionally discuss patient bills, and payment plans.

· Post insurance and patient payments accurately and timely.

· Communicate with insurance companies to obtain benefits and out of pocket.

· Communicate with patients regarding out of pocket costs for surgery and other procedures.

· Some light A/R work may be required.

· Follow Joint Implant policies and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and billing standards.

 · 1+ years of medical office experience in a billing department.

 · Strong understanding of insurance benefits, including deductible, copay, coinsurance, and out of pocket.

 · Proficiency in healthcare billing software and Microsoft Office.

 · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 · Team Player attitude - you're reliable, positive, and happy to help coworkers.
