What You’ll Do
Perform authorized moderate and high complexity laboratory testing in accordance with CLIA standards
Follow established procedures for specimen handling, testing, analysis, and result reporting
Maintain accurate documentation for patient results, quality control, calibrations, and maintenance
Monitor test systems to ensure acceptable performance and take corrective action when needed
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues that may impact test accuracy or reporting
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and consistently produce high-quality, reliable work
Communicate effectively with laboratory leadership and team members
Work independently with minimal supervision while using sound judgment and decision-making
Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and promote a culture of safety and accountability
What We’re Looking For
Certification: ASCP (or equivalent) required
Education: Degree appropriate for moderate/high complexity testing per CLIA regulations
Proven ability to work accurately, efficiently, and independently
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Frequent concentration and sustained attention to detail
Regular exposure to blood, body fluids, and laboratory chemicals
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform fine hand/eye coordination tasks
Standing, bending, and movement throughout the shift as needed
