Patient Demographics: Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Volume/Census: Up to 3 new patients and 8 established patients per day
Case Mix: Medical Oncology, Breast Cancer

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Aria, Beacon module
Support Staff Available: Nursing, 6 APPs, Dietician, Navigator, Clerical
Reason for Coverage: Backfill for departing physician

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Chemo
Immunotherapy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Universal License (IMLC)
Board: BC/BE in Medical Oncology
Certifications: Board Certified in Oncology

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide outpatient medical oncology consultations and follow-up care.
Develop and manage treatment plans including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
Document patient encounters and maintain medical records.
Participate in a light call rotation (approximately 1:6).
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, APPs, and support staff.
