Patient Demographics: Adult, Geriatric

Average Daily Volume: 25 (outpatient), 20 (inpatient)

Case Mix: Benign hematology, malignant oncology, bone marrow transplants, tumor board

FACILITY INFORMATION

Trauma Level: N/A

EMR System: EPIC

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

Credentialing Timeline: 60 Days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Participation on a Tumor Board

Management of Bone Marrow Transplants

Blood Bank oversight

Ordering and interpreting tests and images

Prescribing medications and treatment plans

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology

Licenses: Active SC License

DEA: Active DEA Certification

Certifications: BLS

Other Qualifications: Clean background, EPIC proficiency

Duties & Responsibilities

Participate in Tumor Board meetings

Manage bone marrow transplants

Oversee blood bank operations

Order and interpret tests and images

Prescribe medications and treatment plans
