Job Description - Medical Oncologist, MD/DO


Medical Oncologist, MD/DO Full-Time, 1.0 FTE Renton, WA (Seattle area)


Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time Medical Oncologist and Hematologist (1.0 FTE) to join our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Oncology team. Our approach is team-based and we provide patient-centered care.


About the position:
  • Call is 1:5
  • Designated Medical Assistant.
  • Palliative care is embedded in the Oncology Clinic.
  • We have triage nursing, financial coordinators, and treatment authorizers.
  • PharmD embedded in the infusion center and the Clinic.
  • Support subspecialties with IR, GI, therapeutic and diagnostic interventionist, colorectal surgeons, and breast surgeons.
  • Busy practice with lots of growth opportunities.
  • Team: 5 Medical Oncologists, 3 medical oncology APP's, 2 Radiation Oncologists and 1 Gyn-Oncologist.
Qualifications:
  • BE/BC in Medical Oncology. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority.

BASE COMPENSATION: $550,000 - $625,000 Plus Production Incentives and Sign-On Bonus.
