Position Summary:

As a Medical Receptionist, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work-flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures - before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, Occasionally Saturdays, full-time hours.
  • Location: 260 W Sunrise Hwy Ste 102, Valley Stream, NY 11581-1016
  • Compensation: $19–$21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Language Requirement: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.
  • Paid Training (2-4 weeks)

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, escort to examination rooms, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Verify insurance information and support billing-related processes.
  • Perform data entry and administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and EMR/EHR systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Prepare patients and procedure rooms, assist with room turnover, and provide post-procedure instructions.
  • Support bilingual patient communication when applicable.


Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Experience in a high-volume customer-facing rolerequired.
  • Previous receptionist, front-desk, administrative, or customer service experiencerequired.
  • Experience with scheduling, records management, data entry, insurance verification, or billing support is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and administrative softwarerequired.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
