Pay: Starting at $25 - 28  per hour, depending on experience

Location: Rural Healthcare Facility in Crescent City, CA
Job Type & Schedule: Full-time; 
12-hour shifts 8 am - 8 pm Mon, Tues, Thurs during training; Transitions to a Sun - Thurs 3:30 pm - 12 am schedule after training is completed.

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and customer-service-oriented Medical Front Office Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing scheduling, patient records, and general inquiries. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a warm demeanor, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
  


• Register patients, verify insurance information, and manage appointment scheduling
  


• Answer and direct phone calls, addressing patient questions with clarity and empathy
  


• Ensure accurate data entry and management of electronic medical records
  


• Coordinate with medical staff to support efficient patient flow and address scheduling needs
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or training in medical office administration a plus)
  


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine focus on customer service
  


• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  


• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including Sundays
  


• Prior experience in a medical front office or healthcare setting preferred
  


• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR software is a plus
