Medical Scribe

• Accompany physicians during patient examinations and document medical histories, physical findings, and provider interactions
• Record diagnoses, symptoms, treatment plans, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions as dictated by the physician
• Document procedures performed during patient visits

• Transcribe physician orders including laboratory tests, imaging studies, and medications
• Prepare and manage electronic health records to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Anticipate provider documentation needs during patient visits
• Assist with maintaining organized, complete patient records
• Perform additional related duties as assigned to support clinical operations

• Are highly detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate medical documentation
• Communicate clearly and professionally with physicians and clinical staff
• Stay organized and focused in fast-paced environments
• Can manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy
• Value patient privacy and understand the importance of confidential information
• Work well as part of a collaborative healthcare team

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least one year of experience as a Medical Scribe or related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to accurately document patient care and transcribe patient appointments
• Ability to maintain accuracy of documentation and records
• Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively
