Med/Surg ER RN

Position Overview: The Med/Surg/ER RN will deliver comprehensive nursing care across the Medical-Surgical unit and Emergency Room, managing approximately 200 ER patients monthly. This role requires adaptability and proficiency in handling diverse patient needs in a rural healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

-Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.

-Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

-Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress.

-Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.

-Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care.

- Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing critical care as needed.

Qualifications:

-Active RN license in the state of Kansas.

-Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical and Emergency Nursing.

-Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

-Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour
