Member Services Representative

Qualified applicants must have a High School diploma or GED and 2-3 years related work experience. Associates degree or vocational training preferred. 

Seeking individuals that are proficient skills and knowledge in the following areas:

• General knowledge of customer service experience and general office practices.


• Basic office equipment and computer applications, including Word and Excel, and the ability to learn and navigate new software.


• Must possess ability to quickly and accurately key member information, prepare correspondence to member and process payments.


• Ability to analyze and effectively communicate bill calculations.


• Ability to promote Cooperative or CVEC Fiber promotions, products and services.


• Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to provide basic technical support, clarify information, manage emotions, and respond with diplomacy.


• Must possess and demonstrate professional and friendly attitude, with the ability to develop a rapport with members over the phone and in person.


• Strong work ethic and self-starter with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple duties, adapt to quick change in a fast-paced office environment, follow-through on commitments, maintain focus, and contribute to team performance. 


• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
